Work with Schools

Whole staff wellbeing, taken seriously

Most schools come to me because they have already tried things to improve staff wellbeing, like wellbeing days or mindfulness training, and they want to go deeper to make a real impact.

I work with schools in two ways. Some commission a strategic whole-school programme, designed to shift the culture around staff wellbeing across the school. Others ask for focused workshops for leaders, staff or both. One often leads to the other over time.

The teaching profession is in crisis

78% of staff report being stressed.
77% report mental health symptoms connected to their work.
50% feel their organisational culture has a negative effect on their wellbeing.

Whole staff community

I work with three groups in every school

Change at any one level rarely sticks on its own. That’s why my work always covers the whole staff community.

  • Senior leaders - on being strategic about staff wellbeing
  • Middle and senior leaders - on creating the conditions for a healthy team culture in their departments, year groups or phases
  • All staff - on managing their own wellbeing and supporting each other through the everyday pressures of school life
