My story
From solicitor to principal to researcher
After 15 years leading international schools across Asia and Europe, I stepped away from my role as a principal in 2020 following my own burnout. That experience reshaped my personal and professional life. It led me to specialise in supporting schools to approach wellbeing more strategically and sustainably. It also helped me to find my own work-life balance and focus on the things that really matter.
Before I became an educator, I spent ten years as a UK solicitor, acting for trade union members who had accidents at work or suffered from industrial diseases. That background gave me both a practical and systemic view of how organisations can either protect or harm the people who work within them.
I bring a unique, comprehensive and highly rigorous approach to my work.
If your school or organisation is working to strengthen leader or staff wellbeing, I would be very happy to connect.
